Global Pathways School

Founded in 2009 by Mrs. Theresa Mersky through Village community foundation along with Barbara Zeibots and Barbara Galbraith from Canada, our school began its journey of offering free educational services to the people of Chettipalayam and the surrounding areas. Driven by a shared vision to uplift communities through exceptional education, healthcare, and development, the founders focused on empowering children from families living below the poverty line. Barbara Zeibots, founder of The York School in Toronto, Canada, and Barbara Galbraith, brought their deep commitment to educational excellence, helping to shape GPS into a beacon of hope. From modest beginnings in a small match factory building in Chettipalayam, carefully designed classrooms and dedicated teachers trained to international standards laid the foundation for what GPS would become.
