Accessibility

Our accessibility statement — the standard we work to, what this statement covers, and how to tell us when something on Jobors gets in your way.

Last updated: 21 August 2026

Our commitment

Jobors is built to be usable by every teacher and organization administrator, regardless of ability. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we keep working on this as the product grows.

Reporting a barrier

If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on Jobors — a page that doesn't work with a screen reader, a control that isn't reachable by keyboard, or text that's hard to read — please let us know so we can fix it.

Telling us the page address, the browser or assistive technology you were using, and what you were trying to do gives us enough to reproduce the problem without writing back for more detail.

Scope of this statement

This statement applies to the Jobors website at this domain, including the public pages for job search and organization profiles and the signed-in areas used by teachers, organizations and recruiters. It does not extend to content published by third parties, or to documents that organizations and teachers upload themselves — resumes, brochures and certificates arrive in whatever format their author chose.

What the standard covers

WCAG 2.1 Level AA is organised around four principles. They are summarised below so that a report you send us can point at the part that failed you.

Perceivable
Text alternatives for non-text content, captions for media, sufficient colour contrast, and content that reflows without loss of meaning.
Operable
Everything reachable and usable by keyboard alone, no keyboard traps, enough time to complete tasks, and no content that risks triggering seizures.
Understandable
Readable text, predictable navigation and components, clearly labelled inputs, and errors that are identified and explained.
Robust
Markup that assistive technologies can interpret reliably, including correct names, roles and values for interactive components.

Formal evaluation status

No independent conformance audit of Jobors has been published to date, and this statement should not be read as a certification of conformance. If a formal evaluation is carried out, its report and date will be recorded in this section.
