Chettinadu Public School

The Chettinadu Educational Trust is guided by the Chairmanship of Sri. SP. Kumaresan, a visionary and industrialist who has his roots in Kallal, Sivagangai District. It was his vision to provide educational facilities of urban standards in a rural area as envisaged by (Late) Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam which resulted in the formation of the Chettinad Educational Trust with Mrs. Shanthi Kumaresan, Mr. K. Arunkumar Mrs. Vallikannu Vairavan and Dr. S. Somasundaram as the other members. Under the dynamic leadership of the Chairman, the trust purports to implement proven methodologies of effective schooling systems from across the globe, in harmony with the Indian Value System and the best of Western Technology. The trust also envisions to nurture young minds with inquisitive nature combined with researching abilities to have a deeper understanding the chosen area of study.
