Job Description
Roles and responsibilities:
- Assess students’ skills to determine their needs and to develop teaching plans
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
- Plan, organize, and assign activities that are specific to each student’s abilities
- Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, and one-on-one
- Implement IEPs, assess students’ performance, and track their progress
- Update IEPs throughout the school year to reflect students’ progress and goals

About National High School
National High School was established in 1913 as Anglo Tamil School. At present the school has two campuses, one at Sarat Bose Road (affiliated to WBBSE) and the other at Hazra Road (affiliated to CBSE). Both schools function under the aegis of N.R.Iyer Memorial Education Society. Now in its 104th year the school aims to provide a comprehensive & value based education to its pupils at an affordable cost. The focus is on creating conscientious and responsible future citizens.
Our students have done the school proud by faring consistently well in the board examinations through the years. The medium of instruction is English. Tamil is also offered as a language apart from Hindi and Bengali.
