Position: Teacher

Primary Purpose:

The Teacher develops schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. He/she facilitates learning by establishing good relationships with students and by the effective organisation of learning resources and the classroom learning environment.

Qualifications: Candidate must be B.Ed qualified with Graduation.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.

Experience: At least 1 years experience in teaching to grade VIII n above

Brief Role:

1. Capable to teach the concerned subject.
2. Prepare daily and longer-term lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines
3. Develop children's interests, abilities and coordination using creative activities such as Art, Music and Sport
4. Use Computers to assist with lesson preparation, teaching and reporting.
5. Develop and maintain good working habits and discipline in classrooms.
6. Supervise students during classes and at other times in the school day, including in the playground during breaks.
7. Attend staff meetings and other training and development sessions.
8. Assess and evaluate students' progress in written and oral work.
9. Discuss students progress and concerns with parents and administrators.
10. Prepare for and attend Parent- Teacher Interviews and other functions.

School Time: 8 AM to 3 PM
