Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ skills to determine their needs and to develop teaching plans
  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
  • Plan, organize, and assign activities that are specific to each student’s abilities
  • Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, and one-on-one
  • Implement IEPs, assess students’ performance, and track their progress
  • Update IEPs throughout the school year to reflect students’ progress and goals

Welcome to an ISO 9001:2008 certified premium school, Air Force School Hebbal has a long tradition of service and progress in the field of education spanning to more than three decades. - The School was started initially as a ‘Nursery School’ in 1958-59 at the HQTC, IAF. In June 1965. - The Primary classes of the School were handed over to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to form the K.V. Hebbal, while the Nursery Section remained with the IAF. - The inability of the Kendriya Vidyalaya to accommodate all the children of the Serving IAF Personnel, spurred the formation of the Air Force School in 1977-78. - The School started expanding over the years up to its current status of Class XII. - The School mainly caters to the educational requirements of children of personnel working in the Air Force HQTC(Unit) and its lodger units. - However, the children of other personnel are also admitted subject to availability of seats and fulfilment of criteria for admission. AFSH is the only Senior Secondary School under the Training Command. - The School has lower and Upper KG in the Nursery Section. Standard I to V in the Primary Section, VI to X in the Secondary Section and Standard XI and XII in the Higher Secondary Section, with Science and the Commerce streams.
