Job Description

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge of Hindi as subject and ability to handle Class 1st to class 5th students.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.

Brief Role:

  1. Capable to teach the concerned subject.
  2. Prepare daily and longer-term lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines
  3. Develop children's interests, abilities and coordination using creative activities such as Art, Music and Sport
  4. Use Computers to assist with lesson preparation, teaching and reporting.
  5. Develop and maintain good working habits and discipline in classrooms.
  6. Supervise students during classes and at other times in the school day, including in the playground during breaks.
  7. Attend staff meetings and other training and development sessions.
  8. Assess and evaluate students' progress in written and oral work.
  9. Discuss students progress and concerns with parents and administrators.
  10. Prepare for and attend Parent- Teacher Interviews and other functions.

Silicon city Education Trust was formed in March 2005 to provide infrastructure for value based Education by establishing Educational Institutions to meet growing requirements in and around konanakunte, South Bangalore. To bring this vision into reality, Mr. K.B Lakshman, Founder, Chairman & Mr, L.Ravi, Secretary , ably supported by prominent educationists started Silicon City Public School with CBSE curriculum. In the span of 15 years, School has grown to a present strength of 1560 students. In fact, it is one of the most preferred school by students/parents in South Bangalore. This has given impetus to chairman to enter higher echelons in education for which Silicon City Educational Academy was formed in january 2008 to initiate pre university to Degree Courses to make Academy a Centre for complete Education - from Pre - Nursery to Degree in Management and Commerce. We have with us a staff force that is highly learned and skilled. They share their rich knowledge and experience and dedicate their time to shape a learner's mind in a holistic way. The staff is friendly and they thoroughly understand the requirements of curious young minds.
