Job Description
Role and responsibilities:-
- Planning and preparing courses and lessons. Maintaining up to date subject knowledge related to CBSE preparation for Classes 10th to 12th.
- Be proactively involved in teaching students.
- Motivating, facilitating, teaching, according to the pupil's educational needs.
- Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within their class. Preparing weekly assignments for each batch assigned to him/her.
- Timely correction and marking of assignment work carried out by the students in class and elsewhere.
- Assessing, recording and reporting on the development and progress of students.
- Communicating, consulting and providing feedback to the parents of students during PTM or as and when the requirement / need arises.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Strong knowledge of English as subject and ability to teach same to class 11th and 12th class learners.
- Candidates with School Teaching Experience along with experience in scholastic exam training will be preferred.
- Candidates must have a clear understanding of teaching and learning needs of Foundation
- Course students, who need to excel in School as well as Competitive Exams.
- Candidates with a habit of continuous self learning will be preferred.
- Must possess excellent presentation and English communication skills.

About Summer Fields School
Summer Fields School was one of the first schools to be set up in Gurugram under the aegis of the DLF Management in 1987 in a residential area to meet the educational needs of this ever-changing Millennium City.
By April 1989 the school grew from a mere 10 to a modest 625 students and a staff of 35.
Within a few years, the increase in the number of admissions necessitated the construction of the Pre-Primary wing. It was inaugurated in 1993 by Chaudhary Raghvendra Singh, founder of DLF Limited. By 1997, the school had expanded to include the Senior Wing. The School celebrated its Silver Jubilee in the year 2012.
Over the years the school has expanded and at present is housed in two different buildings. The Senior School (Classes VI to XII) is located in A Block and the Junior School (Classes Pre-Nursery to V) in D Block of DLF City, Phase 1.
The school is an ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2004 certified, All India CBSE-affiliated English-medium Co-educational Senior Secondary Institution.
An active member of the Gurugram Progressive School Council (GPSC), an organization comprising premier schools of Gurugram, has been at the forefront of developing modules in various teaching spheres and implementing the latest changes in policy.
