Job Description

Role and responsibilities:-

  1. Planning and preparing courses and lessons. Maintaining up to date subject knowledge related to CBSE preparation for Classes 6th to 10th.
  2. Be proactively involved in teaching students.
  3. Motivating, facilitating, teaching, according to the pupil's educational needs.
  4. Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within their class. Preparing weekly assignments for each batch assigned to him/her.
  5. Timely correction and marking of assignment work carried out by the students in class and elsewhere.
  6. Assessing, recording and reporting on the development and progress of students.
  7. Communicating, consulting and providing feedback to the parents of students during PTM or as and when the requirement / need arises.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  1. Strong knowledge of Science subject and ability to handle learners from class 6th to 10th .
  2. Candidates with School Teaching Experience along with experience in scholastic exam training will be preferred.
  3. Candidates must have a clear understanding of teaching and learning needs of Foundation
  4. Course students, who need to excel in School as well as Competitive Exams.
  5. Candidates with a habit of continuous self learning will be preferred.
  6. Must possess excellent presentation and English communication skills.

About The Vikasa (Residential)School

The Sainik Schools are a system of schools in India established and managed by the Sainik Schools Society under Ministry of Defense (MoD). They were conceived in 1961 by V. K. Krishna Menon the then Defense Minister of India, to rectify the regional and class imbalance amongst the Officer cadre of the Indian Military, and to prepare students mentally and physically for entry into the national Defense Academy (NDA) and Indian Naval Academy (INA). MoD run Sainik Schools as joint venture with the respective state governments. Sainik Schools follow the CBSE curriculum. There are 33 Sainik schools till 2021.
