Job Description
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Maths subject and ability to handle Class 1st to class 5th students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
Brief Role:
- Capable to teach the concerned subject.
- Prepare daily and longer-term lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines
- Develop children's interests, abilities and coordination using creative activities such as Art, Music and Sport
- Use Computers to assist with lesson preparation, teaching and reporting.
- Develop and maintain good working habits and discipline in classrooms.
- Supervise students during classes and at other times in the school day, including in the playground during breaks.
- Attend staff meetings and other training and development sessions.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress in written and oral work.
- Discuss students progress and concerns with parents and administrators.
- Prepare for and attend Parent- Teacher Interviews and other functions.

About St. Thomas School
The St. Thomas group of Schools had its humble beginning in 1986 at Sahibabad in the premises of St. Thomas Orthodox Church. By the imme asurable grace of the Almighty, the St.Thomas Church Society could edify another temple of learning at Indirapuram as the extension of its education venture.
The dream came true in 2000 in the form of St. Thomas School, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. The School got affiliated to the CBSE. In 2003 for the Secondary level and the CBSE granted the Senior Secondary status in 2005 (Affiliation No. 2130572, School Code - 60252). The magnificent school building, an architectural marvel, was inaugurated by the then Hon'ble speaker of the Lok Sabha - Shri Somnath Chatterjee on 27th January, 2005 and blessed by Late Lamented H.G Job Mar Philoxenos , the Vice President and His Grace Dr. Youhanon Mar Demetrios, the Metropolitan of the Diocese of Delhi. The overall administration of the school is vested in the Governing Board (an elected body constituted by the Society).
