Job Description

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge of Environmental Science subject and ability to teach Class 1st to class 5th students.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.

Brief Role:

  1. Capable to teach the concerned subject.
  2. Prepare daily and longer-term lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines
  3. Develop children's interests, abilities and coordination using creative activities such as Art, Music and Sport
  4. Use Computers to assist with lesson preparation, teaching and reporting.
  5. Develop and maintain good working habits and discipline in classrooms.
  6. Supervise students during classes and at other times in the school day, including in the playground during breaks.
  7. Attend staff meetings and other training and development sessions.
  8. Assess and evaluate students' progress in written and oral work.
  9. Discuss students progress and concerns with parents and administrators.
  10. Prepare for and attend Parent- Teacher Interviews and other functions.

Harrow International School, Bengaluru will be the first of a series of Harrow Schools to open across India, in a collaboration between Harrow School, UK and Amity Education, a not-for-profit education foundation based in Delhi.
