Job Description
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong knowledge of English as subject and ability to handle Class 1st to class 5th students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
Brief Role:
- Capable to teach the concerned subject.
- Prepare daily and longer-term lesson plans in accordance with curriculum guidelines
- Develop children's interests, abilities and coordination using creative activities such as Art, Music and Sport
- Use Computers to assist with lesson preparation, teaching and reporting.
- Develop and maintain good working habits and discipline in classrooms.
- Supervise students during classes and at other times in the school day, including in the playground during breaks.
- Attend staff meetings and other training and development sessions.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress in written and oral work.
- Discuss students progress and concerns with parents and administrators.
- Prepare for and attend Parent- Teacher Interviews and other functions.

An oft quoted saying that is captioning many posters is ‘Every great journey begins with a single step.’ And every dream takes days and days of struggle to materialize into at least half the shape that we wanted it to be.
GV ACADEMY did not hit my mind by chance. I had been waiting for nearly two decades for an educative concern to be started to impart the light of knowledge to the future generations, be they in hundreds or thousands, in a financially viable manner, first for the parent and then also for the institution so that it can last for generations after generations.
Right at the start, I record my gratitude to the Trustees of GV Charity Trust that daringly came forward to run the show even when we seemed to be sinking and fighting against all odds. The show must go on and on for all those parents who put their trust in us and entrust their children to our care.
GV ACADEMY is hardly 3 years old; but the enthusiastic response it has evoked in the hearts and minds of this turmeric city is heartening and my determination to see it cross all barriers is strengthened day after day.
GV ACADEMY is a team effort and the management, staff and parents are integral parts of the system that caters to the needs of the children of this school at their psychological, intellectual, moral, spiritual and physical realms.
Finally, let me add that it is my earnest hope that Academy for Creative Teaching (ACT), Bangalore, with whom we are tied up for the training of our staff will continue to shed its beacon of light to many more schools and Creative Teaching will pave the way for better trends in education for the betterment of humanity.
