Improved access to safe water, education and information to local communities has been of prime importance in our mandates. We have successfully implemented community oriented programs in past and hope to keep providing services to these communities in future too. Sankalp Sansthan (formerly National Shikshan Sansthan) was established in year 2001 and is a Non Govt. Organization working in rural education/awareness sector. Within just couple of years’ span, Sankalp has proved its role in improving level of education among rural children and improvement was also observed among rural women. Sankalp shares part of its success with local PRIs (Panchayeti Raj Institutions) as well who are taking further initiative and a lead role in some parts of Jalore. Today Sankalp is the leading local organization in Jalore in promoting education among children and women in rural areas. Further in the line, Sankalp has expanded its work towards establishing RO plant projects with the help of Cairn India Pvt Ltd. In year 2013 we established two RO plant projects in Jhab and Malwara villages of Sanchore. We did look back since then and the work of providing fluoride free water to local communities keeps going on. We have established four more RO plants in four more villages. Information sharing and awareness campaigns are the prime activities of Sankalp; we have organized several important events in district Jalore that includes schools, people with differently challenged, teachers, women and also on environmental issue. It’s very important that society can connect to these awareness campaigns so we invite prople from various categories and organize these events in such a way that people should feel connected to it.
