Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Explain complicated ideas and principles with understandable language
  2. Manage a classroom with groups of students while making sure that individuals comprehend the concepts explained.
  3. Do student assessment and evaluation.
  4. Conduct training and provide hands on activities to take place in laboratory setting.
  5. Teach and explain basic concepts in computer science and more specialized facts regarding complex software.
  6. Coach and teach in the field of computer science or of related subjects.
  7. Lead courses of certain software like Internet browsers and MS O
  8. Be attentive to the students’ activity and progress
  9. Give constructive timely feedback and evaluate students' work.
  10. Be motivated and passionate about the passing of knowledge to others.

Computer Teacher Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Comfortable working with computer hardware, software, networking and information delivery systems
  2. Effective communicators with good public speaking skills and strong presentation delivery abilities
  3. Good leaders, with a variety of teaching styles that facilitate one-on-one and group learning activities

About Good Samaritan Schools

The school has its origins in the help rendered to Alaknanda Slum children from 1990 to 2003. In the year 1999, efforts started to get land in Delhi to establish a proper school for these children. In 2001, DDA allotted 2 acres of land in Jasola. On 30th March 2005, Good Samaritan School was inaugurated in the presence of Shri Oscar Fernandes, Minister of State for Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India, and Jess Correll, President of River Foundation, USA, guests from a few countries, parents in the community, and others involved. On 1st August 2005 Classes up to 7th Grade started functioning with 350 children. In 2006, School Students were invited to the President’s Palace to interact with Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam. In 2007, the Directorate of Education recognized the school. In 2008, the school was affiliated to CBSE. In 2010, 12th Grade Classes started functioning with 68 students. In 2011, the First Graduating class (12th Grade) came out. In 2021, the 16th School year begins with 1467 students enrolled. 201 students graduated.
