Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
- Planning and preparing courses and lessons. Maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge related to CBSE preparation for Classes 10th to 12th.
- Be proactively involved in teaching students.
- Motivating, facilitating, teaching, according to the pupil's educational needs.
- Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within their class. Preparing weekly assignments for each batch assigned to him/her.
- Timely correction and marking of assignment work carried out by the students in class and elsewhere.
- Assessing, recording and reporting on the development and progress of students.
- Communicating, consulting and providing feedback to the parents of students during PTM or as and when the requirement/need arises.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Strong knowledge of civics subject and ability to teach same to class 11th and 12th class learners.
- Candidates with school teaching experience along with experience in scholastic exam training will be preferred.
- Candidates must have a clear understanding of the teaching and learning needs of the foundation
- Course students, who need to excel in school as well as competitive exams.
- Candidates with a habit of continuous self-learning will be preferred.
- Must possess excellent presentation and English communication skills.

- Should have deep conceptual and working knowledge and passion to teach
- Should have effective classroom management skills
- Passionate about teaching and loves to work with children
- Should enhance the skill of the student.
- Has passion for teaching and guiding students to learn
- Should have good communication skills to teach
- Should have a deeply conceptual and working knowledge
Qualification: Any Graduation/Masters of social science, B.Ed
Experience Required: 2 - 7 years experience

The year was 1986…..The seed of social consciousness that his mother Smt.Velammal had sown in the mind of Shri. M.V Muthuramalingam, Founder Chairman of Velammal Educational Trust,when he was of impressionable age, was now germinating and sprouting the out come - establishing Velammal Matriculation School at Chennai with a strength of only 183 students and 13 staff members. As the years passed, the strength of the school grew and so did its reputation. The need for more Institutions arose. Thus the name and works of Velammal Group of Institutions spread far and wide.
From a small school at Mugappair in Chennai ,the Velammal Group of institutions has spread to the districts of Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Sivagangai, Madurai, Theni, Karur, Thiruvanamalai, Thanjavur,and Vellore in Tamil Nadu.
