Job Description
Roles and responsibilities:
- Teach music courses to students including voice, tone, tempo and rhythm skills.
- Train, rehearse and lead students in school and community musical programs.
- Conduct music classes according to rules and regulations established by Board of education.
- Develop and maintain an effective music educational program for students.
- Schedule daily classes to instruct and rehearse within the assigned time.
- Understand potentials and skills of each student and guide individual student according to their skills.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback and assistance to improve their musical skills.
- Maintain lesson plans and instructional materials for students.
- Recommend maintenances and repairs for musical instruments when necessary.
- Maintain student behavioral standards to ensure productive and disciplined environment during group rehearsals, practices, and performances.
- Collaborate with school administration to organize musical programs for civic functions and school productions.
- Monitor students in and out of the classrooms.
- Maintain safe and positive learning environment for students.
- Participate in curriculum development programs, student activities and faculty committees.
- Attend educational workshops, trainings and professional improvement programs to maintain professional competence.
- Maintain student grading and attendance records.
- Evaluate student progress and ensure that students complete daily assignments

About Sainik School Chandrapur
The All India Sainik School Entrance Examination was held on 21 Apr 2019 and the preliminary result was published on 30 Apr 19. Sqn Ldr Naresh Kumar, 1st Principal, Sainik School Chandrapur informed that 270 candidates were shortlisted for medical examination. Medical Examination of shortlisted candidates was held at General Hospital Chandrapur from 10 May to 17 May 2019. The final merit list of the candidates was published on 01 Jun 2019. For the first academic session, 90 cadets in class-VI had admitted in the school. The joining instructions to all the candidates featuring in the merit list had sent by email. The parents of the candidates had informed by telephone. The admission of cadets in the school has started from 17 Jun 19. The classes for the first academic session of the school started from 20 Jun 2019. The School Chandrapur has the world class infrastructure. The sports facilities at the school are of Olympic standard. The school will be having the Military might museums showcasing the history of Kargil War, the people’s president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, live submarine experience etc. In the remembrance of our martyrs, the School will be having Paramveer Path displaying the statues and brief history of all the 21 Param Veer Chakra awardees.
