About Queen Global International School

In almost every phase of our lives, we have heard adults instructing children to study well and score good grades in their assessments so that they can become successful. But, is education all about the rat race of grades, or it is about bringing out the best in a person and developing the personality? When I think about it, I feel that it is very important to realize what we want from education. I reckon, education need not only be a tool for survival but for enhancing perception. The children must blossom and flower into great human beings rather than just aiming for good grades. Mahatma Gandhi in his ideology of education also talks about holistic development. According to him, education is comprehensive. And its main aim is the development of one’s personality which includes character-building, discipline, attainment of peace, self-sufficiency and self-reliance. Also, it has been proven scientifically that children learn quickly and adapt things faster in their early years which then further stays with them throughout their life. I am glad that the government has understood the importance of the foundational years in a child's life. The NEP move is really appreciable. The best thing is the change of structure from (10+2) to (5+3+4). This 5-year-term can help a child develop efficiently from the roots to grab the better opportunities waiting for them ahead in life. The policy looks promising in providing skill education to students, which no doubt is the need of the time.
