Job Description

We are looking for Chief Innovation Officer for a reputed engineering college as per below requirement -

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • The CIO is expected to lead the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Startup Ecosystem development, the HRD and Skill development efforts of the Hub by conceptualizing and executing programs on grand challenges, seed support for startups, academic fellowships, among others.

Eligibility:

  1. The Candidate should have

    PhD or Masters degree in EECS from IITs/IISc or reputed university with minimum 10 years experience in commercialization of technology (as startup founder or as venture capitalist or equivalent in a research organization) in the AI+ML sector. Exceptional candidates with a Bachelor's degree with proven experience will also be considered.

  2. A strong desire to redefine teaching standards and build tomorrow's leaders

  3. Strong communication skills

About Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) is a public technical and research university established by the government of India in 1951. It is the first of the IITs to be established and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance. In 2019 it was awarded the status of Institute of Eminence by the government of India.
